Born in Chernihiv, Ukraine, in 1965. Graduated from Gomel State Art College, Belarus, in 1986 and from the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute (now the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts) in 1991.
A gifted landscape painter, Yuriy Revko became renowned for his lyrical depictions of the traditional Ukrainian countryside. One of the central themes of his work was rural life in Ukraine, with a particular focus on the Ukrainian village and its enduring cultural heritage.
Today, his works are held in private collections worldwide. Among the most notable admirers of his art was former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko, who acquired a number of his paintings for his collection.
Participated in solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine and internationally.
