Born in 1963 in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Graduated from the Kharkiv Art and Industry Institute (now the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts) in 1990.

Worked as an artist at the Kharkiv Art and Production Combine.

Baryshnikov’s works are held in the exhibition collection of the Directorate of Exhibitions of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Berlin Wall Museum in Berlin, and the collection of Del Bello Gallery in Toronto.
