“Even in a modest flower, one can see extraordinary beauty.” — Valentina and Vladimir Telichko

Valentina and Vladimir Telichko were born in 1948. Both artists graduated from the Luhansk State Art College.

They are Honored Artists of Ukraine and members of the Donetsk regional branch of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. They are also part of the Donetsk creative group “Sodruzhestvo.”

Vladimir is also an icon painter. He has contributed to the decoration of churches in Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Poland.

The artists often work “in four hands.” According to Valentina, she usually begins a painting, and her husband continues it. Although they sometimes engage in lively discussions, they generally agree that a painting should evoke positive emotions in the viewer.

The couple met as applicants to art school, and have lived and worked together for more than forty years.

They have participated in solo and group exhibitions at republican, regional, and international levels.

Their works are held in private collections worldwide.
