Born in 1968 in Ukraine. 

Graduated from the Severodonetsk Art School, Ukraine; the Luhansk State Art College, Ukraine; the Faculty of Painting at the Ilya Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he studied in the workshop of Professor Yuri Neprintsev, Russia; and the Faculty of Painting at the University of Madrid, Spain.

Galimov is proficient in a wide range of classical artistic techniques, including oil painting, watercolor, gouache, and graphic media such as pastel, pencil, and ink.

His works are held in private collections worldwide.
