Born in Lytvynovychi, Sumy Region, Ukraine, in 1957.
Studied at the Kyiv State Art Institute (now the National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture) from 1984 to 1989.
Working in the tradition of naïve art, he creates landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and compositions inspired by ancient mythology and Ukrainian folklore.
His works are represented in museum collections, including the National Museum of Taras Shevchenko.
Since 1987, he has participated in national and international exhibitions.
His solo exhibitions were held in Kyiv (1997–1999, 2003–2004) and Vinnytsia (2004).
