Born in Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Lviv Polytechnic National University and later from the Lviv National Academy of Arts.

Nikolin is recognized as a distinguished representative of Post-Impressionism in contemporary Ukrainian painting. Art critics often note the influence of his architectural education on his artistic vision, observing a unique interplay between architecture and painting in his work.

Creating his own poetic visual world, Nikolin combines a refined sense of color with a deeply personal perception of reality. Familiar subjects are transformed through imagination and emotion, taking on an independent life and inviting a dialogue with the viewer.

Widely acclaimed as a master of landscape and still life painting, his works are distinguished by their expressive color, harmony, and lyrical atmosphere.
