Eduard Belsky was born in 1963 in Kolky, Volyn Region, Ukraine. He studied at the Republican Art School named after Taras Shevchenko in Kyiv and the Dnipro Art College before graduating from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts in 1991, where he specialized in monumental painting under the guidance of Mykola Storozhenko and Viktor Chekaniuk.
Belsky works in painting and graphic art. His practice is characterized by expressive color, dynamic brushwork, and a balance between emotional spontaneity and formal composition. He is particularly known for portraits, cityscapes, seascapes, and figurative compositions.
A member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1992.
Belsky established his artistic career primarily within the Western art market. Over several seasons, he has been a regular participant in the Salon des Indépendants in Paris, as well as international art fairs and exhibitions in Karlsruhe, Manchester, Zurich, Dublin, Vienna, and Salzburg. He has also exhibited in Prague galleries, including Le Siants and Miro, as well as at Art Gallery Galia in Bordeaux. His practice is positioned within a contemporary European art context with a strong international presence.
His works are held in private collections throughout Europe, the United States, and other countries.
