Born in 1964 in Smolensk, Russia. Graduated from the Smolensk State Pedagogical Institute, Faculty of Art and Graphics, in 1997. Studied under L. I. Azarenko, V. I. Chertkova, V. E. Samarina, and Yu. I. Preobrazhensky.

Since 2001, has lived and worked in Nikopol, Ukraine.

Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine.

Works in the genres of portraiture, still life, landscape, and genre painting. His paintings are distinguished by a keen artistic eye and an ability to capture expressive and memorable moments of everyday life.

Since 1979, has participated in solo, city, regional, national, and international exhibitions, including exhibitions in Berlin (2007) and Magdeburg (2008).
