Born in Severodonetsk, Lugansk Region, Ukraine, in 1968.
Education:
1980-1983 – Severodonetsk Art School
1983-1988 – Luhansk State Art College
1991-1994 – Ilya Repin St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Fine Arts, Sculpture and Architecture
1994-1995 – Department of Paintings of Madrid University, Spain.
Valentin masters most classic visual techniques: oil painting, watercolor, and gouache, graphics with pastel, pencil, and ink. His works are present in the private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Spain, France, and many other countries.
He held personal exhibitions and participated in the numerous group exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Spain, and France, such as Sala de Exposiciones de Caja Diego (Salamanca, Spain), Contemporary Art Exhibition at Diagonal Gallery (Barcelona, Spain), international art exhibitions in Cherbourg, Angers, Auxerre and Marle (all – France).
