Born in Tchaikovsky, Perm Region, Russia, in 1967.
Education:
1978-1982 – Lutsk Art School
1983-1987 – Uzhgorod State College of Applied and Decorative Arts
1993-1998 – National Academy of Visual Arts and Architecture of Ukraine (specialty: easel painting)
Sergey is an artist, ceramist, sculptor, and inventor of HAPPY ART’s bright, original, and distinctive style. The first personal exhibition of his works made in this new technique was held in Chicago Eclectic Art Gallery in 1996.
As a sculptor and ceramist, Sergey is widely known in artistic circles: among artists, sculptors, and gallery owners and participates in many national and international exhibitions and art projects. Sergey’s ceramic works are exhibited in art galleries and held in private collections all over the world. For instance, his work “Flyer” is in the private collection of the third president of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, other pieces – in the private collections of Paco Rabano and Roger Meddouz-Taylor, a drummer of the Queen rock band. Besides, his extraordinary wonder-cats are represented in the Cats Museum in Barcelona.,
He lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
