Timofey Stroganov

Timofey Stroganov

Born on March 27, 1962

Timofey was born in Zaporizhzhia and currently lives and works in Dnipro. The author does not have a formal art education, which did not prevent him from fully realizing his creative potential. In the past seven years, he has participated in more than 10 exhibitions in Kyiv (Ukrainian House, “RA” Gallery, and “Dukat” Gallery), Odesa (Tatiana Lodizhenskaya’s Gallery), Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, as well as in Vilnius (Art-Vilnius, personal exhibition).

Timofey’s works are full of expression and sensitivity. The vagueness of the lines only more accurately conveys the character of the image. The author’s works do not have complex color transitions or excessive play of colors, but the embodiment of content in form is conveyed brightly and emotionally.

Participated in exhibitions since 1976.

The works are in the Dnipro Art Museum and private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Russia, the USA, Israel, and France.

Lives and works in Dnipro.

AUTHOR ABOUT HIMSELF:

“The image means more than the beauty of the paint. I believe I am lucky with the images that fall upon me as if someone is handing them to me. The only way to grasp the reality we call life experience, which we have called ‘truth,’ is to transform the formless masses of sensations into images throughout history.”
