Bull Fighting Diptych

“Bull Fighting” unfolds across two connected panels, allowing the drama of the subject to move from one field of action into another. Dense reds, blacks, and earthy tones evoke the heat, danger, and ritual intensity associated with the bullring. Rather than describing the spectacle literally, Ostapenko fragments the action into gestures, shapes, and flashes of movement. The diptych becomes a study of confrontation, courage, vulnerability, and the ancient tension between human control and untamed force.
